Thursday Night Football – Packers Beat Cardinals 24-21

Thursday night, the Cardinals hosted the Packers for some Thursday Night Football but not all ended well for the Cardinals as the Packers claimed a 24-21 win. These are the two hottest teams in the league right now as Green Bay entered this contest having won six consecutive games and now have extended their win streak to seven consecutive games. The Cardinals entered this contest undefeated 7-0 but now they got a stain on their polished record and slide to 7-1 after this week eight loss.

With 6:17 on the clock in the first quarter, it was a direct snap to Edmonds who took it up the middle for yards and got a touchdown to get the Cardinals in the game. The point after attempt was good and at the end of the first quarter it was the Packers 0 and the Cardinals 7. 

In the second quarter, with 12:54 on the clock the Packers had a touchdown, point after attempt was good. With 6:28 on the clock, Crosby made a 21 yard field goal for the Packers. The second quarter ended with the Packers 10 and the Cardinals 7.

In the third quarter, with 11:37 on the clock Rodgers connected with Cobb who got a TD for the Packers. The point after attempt was good. With 6:22 on the clock in the third quarter, Conner got a TD for the Cardinals and the point after attempt was good. The third quarter ended with the Packers 17 and the Cardinals 14.

In the fourth quarter, with 14:56 on the clock Rodgers connected with Cobb again and Cobb got his second TD of the game. The point after attempt was good. With 10:45 on the clock in the fourth quarter, Conner got his second TD of the game for the Cardinals and the point after attempt was good. At the end of the fourth quarter it was the Packers 24 and the Cardinals 21 to end the game.
